Our Mission

Christian young people all over the world are looking for something different. So often, they are subject to negative peer pressure that leaves them confused, discouraged and lonely. We can’t change that, but we can offer them something better.
Since our founding in 2019, Youth’s Herald’s team has been dedicated to bringing like-minded Christian young people together to encourage and inspire each other in their Christian walk. In doing this, we hope to make a difference—for both today and tomorrow.

How We Started

It started with a fourteen-year-old girl who just wanted to help her earliteens class. Each Sabbath, Tessa enthusiastically participated in class—but it seemed like she was the only one who did. Her classmates were shy and didn’t talk much. Tessa wanted to help her friends connect, but she didn’t know how.
After a lot of thinking and praying, she finally came up with an idea and talked to her friend, RaeAnne, about it.
RaeAnne raised her eyebrows. “A magazine, Tessa?”
“Right.” Tessa nodded. “If the kids in Sabbath School will write about their Christian experience, wouldn’t that be easier than talking?”
“You’re right!” RaeAnne agreed. “And if it works, we could even include kids from another church!”
“Woah,” Tessa laughed. “Slow down. We haven’t even started anything yet. It’s just an idea!”
It didn’t stay an idea for long. It took another year and a lot of work, but finally, the two girls printed the first edition of Youth’s Herald. No color, no designs—just twelve pages of stories, testimonies, devotional thoughts, and object lessons from local church kids. Thrilled with their first success, the girls told their friends about their idea. Soon, they had ten subscriptions. Young people began offering to help. The idea exploded as God took the magazine farther than anyone could have ever imagined! No longer was it a wild idea. Instead, it became a blessed reality.
God has led the ministry in amazing ways. Today, Youth’s Herald is published six times a year and is sent around the world. Sometimes, we think, “This is completely crazy! What on earth were we thinking?” But then we remember that this is God’s magazine, not ours.
Share. Encourage. Inspire. This is our goal.

1 Timothy 4:12
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
